the heart at the ending tho lol
I swear to God, if this fight is delayed with another Ikalgo episode, I'M GONNA LOSE IT.
Remember when Killua would behead anyone without a second thought? Man has he come a long way :)
The cat boy looks so done with butterfly dude too 😂
Remember in first arc after playing with Netero, he left and said "I didn't wanted to kill him" that was the biggest joke lmao
Glad he didn't tried, Gon and Killua's friendship would've ended way before it even started lol.
Ik the upper called hunter association to exterminate the ants, but it feels like Netero just ignore all negotiation just so he can have the best fight of his life which may result the death of humanity since mereum can absorb nen from people he ate. what a chad move
Nope, the whole reason they didn't send army of hunters was because Chimera ants can absorb and stuff. That's why the extermination team consisted of very few hunters, Netero was tasked with killing Meruem no matter what even if he was actually good
Yeah they wanted to keep casualties to a minimum level.
They don't know about Meruem's power, so that's not the reason. Only the Royal Guard know. Netero has his own reasons for keeping to a small team.
I can’t with netero 😭🖐🏻 He’s literally playing to his heart content rn and the damn heart at the end 😩😩
Can't believe this is the same Gon who was shaking & was scared to fight hisoka some episodes ago
And then they were married happily ever after
hhhhhahah
man i love rewatching this show its so good smh
when u put all ur stats on defense:

Gon got really damaged due to Kite's death.
meruem already having a rough childhood
i actually love the chad KING
Ora ora ora
Is Gon really that strong or hes bluffin?
Gon is not bluffing.
rage buff
the curse of the strongest
Gon's character development isn't unnatural. In fact it makes a lot of sense and is perfect the way it is. Anything less would be wrong and inconsistent.
Even as a jolly kid in the hunter exam arc, he watched people around him die without blinking. He went after Hisoka to fish his badge even though it was practically a death sentence. He chased after the Phantom Troupe not once but twice.
Gon has been ok with his own death and walked at the side of others' deaths since the very beginning of the story. He's a nice kid, but he's far from innocent.
Then there's a warrior's pride. Gon faced the permanent maiming of his body against Hanso in the final test of the hunter exam, just so he wouldn't have to back down. He risked his life to duel nen users in the Heaven's arena before he was ready and incurred a 2 month ban on nen from Wing for doing so, not to mention later facing Hisoka, all in order to regain his pride by returning Hisoka's badge. He staked Killua's health on the line just to oppose Razor in the volleyball match in order to maintain their honor by winning in a fair contest, then he selfishly sabotaged their plans to stop Genthru in Greed Island, which could have cost many more people their lives, even sacrificing his own hands and becoming a cripple, just for the sake of his pride that Genthru take him seriously as a warrior.
Finally, there's his father. Gon began this entire journey for the sake of finding his father. He became a hunter at the same age. He put up with Greed Island's deadly rules even as everyone else is being tormented, trapped wanting to escape the game, all because his father made it. He gambled all his money in Yorknew to find his dad, and opposed the phantom troupe just to get the barest next hint of his father's location. Gon is obsessed with his dad.
Like Morel said, Gon is as crazy as they come. He's a hunter through and through, stakes his life on the line and pursues his goals at all costs. Right now his goal is Kite.
Kite currently lies at the nexus of all of Gon's dark traits. Avenging Kite represents sacrificing Gon's own life to infiltrate the location of collectively the strongest known nen users in the world and fight a monster like Pitou. As his father's protégé, who likely died because of Gon, all of Gon's obsession with his father is bent towards Kite. It's the same way he was overprotective of Greed Island's cruel nature, but far more so as he has already failed Kite and Kite is closer to Ging than Greed Island was. And finally, Gon's own pride as a warrior is on the line. If Gon gave his hands to Genthru for the sake of his pride, he will most certainly sacrifice anything to salvage a situation with his father's respect on the line.
Biscuit said Gon has unrivaled focus. All of that focus, including the worst scenario for bringing out Gon's worst traits, are all entangled together at this moment in order to avenge Kite. That's why he's behaving the way he is. It's consistent with his past and is the most accurate portrayal of his character.
